LET’S TALK
TWU created an on-campus Digital Call Center for students to connect with alumni and friends of the university. The call center serves TWU from enrollment management to university advancement.
FREE COLLEGE NOW POSSIBLE
TWU partnered with North Central Texas College to launch the Red River Promise Program, which builds on the Dallas Promise model to bring last-dollar scholarship and support services to high-need students in rural North Texas.
TWU’S NEW STUDENT MONEY MANAGEMENT CENTER
The center provides free programs to help students on all three campuses make informed financial decisions. Those who took advantage of the coaching sessions in the fall reported an average 35% decrease in their financial stress levels.

NEW TUTORING CENTER OPENS
Since 2018, the Johanniter Humanitarian Group (JHG) of Texas has presented scholarships to nursing students at TWU Dallas. Last fall, JHG partnered with the Mike A. Myers Foundation to launch the Myers-JHG Tutoring and Academic Support Center.
BUSINESS INCUBATOR LAUNCHES
TWU’s Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership has partnered with Dallas-based The Slate to launch a women-owned incubator program that provides office space, training and other resources to women entrepreneurs in the heart of the Dallas Design District.

NURSING PH.D. HITS MILESTONE
TWU is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Nursing Ph.D. program in Houston this March.
OT SCHOOL GETS NEW NAME
Thanks to a $2 million gift, the Houston campus is now home to the Sophie Lin Rydin School of Occupational Therapy - Houston Center. Rydin, a TWU alumna, was an admired OT professor.
